My Approach
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal process therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic techniques.
With couples I used a mixed method of emotion focused therapy and Gottman.
This eclectic style is couched in a consideration of culture, identity, and an overarching goal of change and empowerment. Working with me is collaborative and active. You are informed and in control but will also be challenged and supported; I am transparent about the work we do and my approach.
